Thanksgiving weekend is always an enjoyable week of football. It also marks the beginning of the business end of the football season.
Teams who have designs on winning playoff games and competing for a Super Bowl need to get their act in order now to give themselves an opportunity to gain that coveted Lombardi Trophy.
Here are my week 12 picks; (excluding Thanksgiving games)
RAIDERS 34, FALCONS 21
Vegas are a quality squad and will bounce back after dropping a home game v KC.
BILLS 30, CHARGERS 24
Herbert is developing into a genuinely elite QB talent but you’d think the Bills will be too strong.
GIANTS 23, BENGALS 17
Cincinnati’s season could fall off the cliff with the loss of Joe Burrow.
COLTS 28, TITANS 24
Time to respect the Colts. They’ll need to earn this one.
VIKINGS 30, PANTHERS 27
Poor poor poor from Minnesota last week. Carolina were good good good. So, of course, tipping Minnesota…
CARDINALS 23, PATRIOTS 17
Patriots could upset here, particularly with some poor weather but we’ll lean with Arizona.
DOLPHINS 30, JETS 20
Bounce back week for Miami. New York edges closer to 0-16.
BROWNS 24, JAGUARS 18
Jags playing teams tough without winning. They’ll fancy themselves here but Cleveland are now staring at an 8-3 record.
STEELERS 26, RAVENS 21
Lamar could be out. That would give Baltimore no hope.
SAINTS 30, BRONCOS 17
Taysom Time again. This should be cosy, despite Denver’s win last week.
RAMS 24, NINERS 22
Rams unbeaten at home, just upended NFC fancy Tampa. San Fran still injured all over the shop.
CHIEFS 38, BUCCANEERS 33
I can see Tampa bouncing back at home but Kansas City are just too damn good right now.
PACKERS 28, BEARS 13
Trubisky returns and he may well play alright but the Packers will get back on track at home. Need to get Aaron Jones going.
SEAHAWKS 28, EAGLES 21
Russ and DK will love some MNF action. Doubt the Eagles will.
