WEEK 7 NFL PREVIEW
(Apologies for the late upload. Better late than never but never late is better!)

Week six in the NFL was incredible. It was the week of the underdog, with no less than eight outsiders pinching the W.
This week’s slate of games looks equally as entertaining, headlined by the Super Bowl rematch as Atlanta go into New England in what shapes as an offensive onslaught.
Michael Crabtree’s TD on a final untimed down meant we missed our KC 1-13 bet but at least Derek Carr accounted for his 228-yard over/under – hopefully there was money for someone!
Here’s something to look for in each of the week seven contests;
JETS at DOLPHINS
Jay Ajayi got going last week with 130 rushing yards, this week he will top 150 and break his 2017 touchdown maiden.
Tip: MIA 24, NYJ 17
JAGUARS at COLTS
Leonard Fournette is likely to miss (sigh) so for those invested in Fantasy Football, acquire Chris Ivory ASAP!
Tip: JAX 21, IND 20
PANTHERS at BEARS
I’m worried for Carolina here. Last week’s TNF loss to Philly seems like a lifetime ago but I expect the same issues to remain. Bears can pinch this at home.
Tip: CHI 23, CAR 20
SAINTS at PACKERS
Life without Aaron Rodgers. Brett Hundley will be serviceable but Rodgers was my standout selection for MVP and his loss will be felt for the entire time he’s gone.
Tip: NO 30, GB 20
RAVENS at VIKINGS
Baltimore’s defence found its groove last week against Chicago even though it lost the game. The problem has been Joe Flacco and the offence.
Tip: MIN 24, BAL 21
BUCCANEERS at BILLS
Do you ever hear anything about the Bills ? Me neither and I watch everything associated with the NFL. Tampa have been disappointing and Winston is banged up. One last chance Bucs!
Tip: TB 24, BUF 17
TITANS at BROWNS
Marcus Mariota the pocket passer! His hammy limited any movement he has displayed in the pocket but he found his touch and ended up rolling past a determined Indy on MNF.
Here, he can hand the ball off to Murray and Henry and enjoy the spoils of victory.
Tip: TEN 33, CLE 17
CARDINALS at RAMS (In London)
LA have won in many different ways. The offence rolled early but Jared Goff’s past two have been bad.
Despite possessing Patrick Peterson and Tyrann Mathieu, the Cards secondary is ranked 28th in the league.
Tip: LAR 30, AZ 24
COWBOYS at NINERS
He’s in, he’s out, he’s in again. Ezekiel Elliott is playing and he should run rampant against a good, but always under the pump San Fran defence.
He could single-handedly earn his fantasy owners a win.
Tip: DAL 30, SF 20
BRONCOS at CHARGERS
Denver could not have been more disappointing last week in a home loss to New York whilst LA finally worked out how to win a close one – by making a FG!
I expect the ‘No Fly Zone’, Von Miller and even the QB to bounce back.
Tip: DEN 24, LAC 21
BENGALS at STEELERS
A juicy one! See what I did there ? Le’Veon ‘Juice’ Bell will be key to another Steelers divisional victory but a rested Bengals team has been greatly improved of late. AJ Green and rookie Joe Mixon hold the key.
Tip: PIT 30, CIN 24
SEAHAWKS at GIANTS
Cheerio to buddies of mine heading to this one!
Big Blue got its first win last week and as poorly as the ‘Hawks perform on the east coast in 1pm games, I think Russ Wilson will guide them to the win.
Tip: SEA 23, NYG 14
FALCONS at PATRIOTS
How fitting! Super Bowl rematch to end another gigantic morning and afternoon of football.
Every QB opposed to New England has amassed 300+ pass yards this season so surely Matt Ryan can ignite Julio Jones’ season in this one.
Tom Brady will be amped and this should be a dandy to cross codes and quote the great NCAA commentator Dick Vitale.
Tip: ATL 33, NE 30
BETS BETS;
BAL win $2.81 (Yes, I tipped Minnesota but the odds are wayward)
David Njoku +24.5 yards $1.87
Mitchell Trubisky +171.5 yards $1.87
Chris Ivory 1st TD $10
Jay Ajayi +20.5 rush attempts $1.87
TB win $2.26
Ezekiel Elliott 1st TD $7
Russell Wilson +20.5 rush yards $1.87
PIT/CIN +40.5 points $1.92
ATL win $2.48
As always, enjoy your football.
