Here comes the NBA

King James taking on the entire Golden State Warriors with only a bit of help from Australian dynamo Matthew Dellavedova.

It only seems like last week.

Well, strap yourselves in hoops fans, the NBA is only a month away!

LeBron, Delly, a healthy Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love are readying themselves to take back what they feel they lost against the Warriors.
The young, uptempo Dubs haven’t gone anywhere however and Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Finals MVP Andre Iguodala and Draymond Green will be hoping to repeat.

San Antonio will have a little something to say about that with the always ageing Spurs acquiring All-Stars David West (who took millions less to be in SA) and LaMarcus Aldridge in free agency.
The three-headed big man monster of West, Aldridge and Tim Duncan will be formidable, then you have veterans Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili and our own Patty Mills on the outside.
Stopping the Spurs in the west will be quite a task.

The games come thick and fast once the season tips off and many questions will need to be answered;
– Can Kevin Durant overcome his foot injury and return to the top of the NBA pile?
– Is there any chance the Knicks – under the Phil Jackson reign – can become relevant or is Carmelo Anthony destined to this decade’s Tracy McGrady?
– Was Atlanta’s all-conquering regular season run a fluke, or are they for real when it counts?
– Once again, Australia is well represented across the league, will there be another championship ring coming down under?

These – and many more – questions will begin to be answered in little more than a month’s time.

The NBA is a travelling circus and once this thing gets rolling, there are more highlights than we know what to do with.
